Harvest Supermoon and partial eclipse

£56.00

Part of my 'magical moon' series this scene is beautifully handpainted with acrylics on a upcycled tea bag making it a unique, unusual and sustainable piece of art.

The Harvest Moon usually occurs in September and is the full moon closest to the Autumn Eqinox.
A supermoon occurs when a full moon is at it's closest point to Earth making the moon look bigger than normal and the best time to spot a supermoon is in the early evening, when it is on the horizon. That's when it'll appear at its largest and may be slightly orange because of the effect of moonlight shining through Earth's atmosphere.
A partial lunar eclipse happens when the Earth passes between the sun and moon and casts a shadow.

The painting comes mounted and framed in a black 6" x 6" square acrylic box frame, with mount

Perfect for brightening up a shelf or side.
Signed and stamped on the back.

Delivery £4.95 via Royal Mail signed for 1st class.
