Peace

£68.00

Part of my Pukka tea series, this beautiful picture of a white dove is handpainted with acrylics on a upcycled Pukka 'Peace' tea bag making it a unique, unusual and sustainable piece of art.

This piece was created for the International Day of Peace. The white dove is a timeless symbol of peace, hope, and new beginnings. Painting on a repurposed item is an important part of my practice; it represents sustainability and stands as a quiet protest against overconsumption and our throwaway culture. It’s a call to rethink how we view “waste” and what can be given new life.

In a world where headlines are often filled with conflict and hatred, it’s easy to feel powerless. But I truly believe peace begins with each of us, in the small, daily commitments we make to ourselves, our homes and our communities.

If we each nurtured peace in our own little corner of the world, imagine the collective impact. Peace begins within our hearts, and that is something we can all work towards, every single day.

The painting comes mounted and framed in a white 8" x 6" acrylic box frame with mount *
